Spa Athletic Club values its members and is committed to providing a high-quality fitness experience. This Refund Policy outlines our policies regarding membership fees, billing obligations, and refunds.
All membership agreements at Spa Athletic Club require a minimum twelve (12) month commitment, as outlined in each member’s signed membership contract. There are no enrollment or initiation fees required to join. Membership fees start at $39.95 per month, depending on membership type, and are subject to applicable taxes if any. Membership fees and recurring dues are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Once a membership has been activated, no refunds will be issued for unused time, missed visits, early cancellation, or failure to use the facilities.
Rate Protection: The monthly membership fee you agree to at the time of signing your membership contract is locked in for the full 12-month term. If Spa Athletic Club increases monthly membership fees in the future, your monthly rate will remain the same for your current contract unless you choose to cancel your membership and rejoin at the new rate.
Members are responsible for maintaining valid and up-to-date payment information at all times. In the event of a missed payment, declined transaction, expired card, or change in payment method, the member remains financially responsible for all dues owed under the terms of the 12-month contract. Any unpaid or missed monthly dues will continue to accrue and will be charged once valid payment information is provided or otherwise collected by Spa Athletic Club through permitted billing methods. Failure to make timely payments does not cancel or pause the membership obligation.
Spa Athletic Club charges a single annual maintenance fee, billed each year in the month of June. The cost of the annual maintenance fee is $30 for a single membership and $70 for a family membership. This fee helps offset the costs of facility maintenance, equipment upgrades, and general operational improvements. In June, members will be charged their regular monthly membership fee plus the applicable annual maintenance fee. The annual maintenance fee is non-refundable, including in cases of early cancellation, non-use, or suspension of membership.
Spa Athletic Club reserves the right to suspend membership access, services, or privileges for accounts with outstanding balances until payment is brought current. All outstanding balances, including missed monthly dues and the annual maintenance fee, must be paid in full.
Payments made for additional services, including but not limited to personal training sessions, classes, spa services, or special programs, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of purchase. Prepaid services must be used within the timeframe specified at purchase and are not eligible for refunds for non-use.
Promotions, discounts, and free passes, including the 7-day free pass, have no cash value and are not eligible for refunds or credits. Spa Athletic Club reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotional offers at any time.
Refunds will not be issued for temporary facility closures, changes in hours, equipment maintenance, holidays, or class schedule adjustments. Spa Athletic Club may make operational changes as necessary to ensure safety and service quality.
In cases of verified billing errors or unauthorized charges, members must notify Spa Athletic Club promptly. Approved refunds, if applicable, will be issued at Spa Athletic Club’s discretion using the original method of payment and may take several business days to process.
Spa Athletic Club reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon posting or communication to members.
